Receive the 3D Healing (5)

1 Jhn 3:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

I will interpret the above scripture as “I wish everything about you is perfect!” The psalmist painted such a perfect scenario in Psa 144 “… that there be no complaining in our streets. Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD” (vs 15). It means we can have all things perfect, good health, good job and happy family. But that is if God rules our lives. Having God is a spiritual experience that transforms the physical life into a glorious one.

When Jesus saw the man who had been sick for 38 years by the pool of Bethesda, “he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?” This is a question of compassion, so as to bring complete healing, body, soul and material. Doubtless, a man that has been paralyzed for such a long time is also sick financially and socially. The man confessed he no longer had friends, not one man. Jesus commanded his word of power and the man was immediately healed.

But Jesus also instructed the sick man “Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” (Jhn 5:14). In other words, the 38 years paralysis came because of sin which is a sickness of the soul and spirit. It also means the miracle Jesus performed was actually a liberation of that man’s spirit from the bondage caused by sin but which automatically translated to physical strength. No doubt his social and financial life also took a new turn after that. “Wilt thou be made whole?” is a question of soul deliverance so as to have freedom from the spiritual bondage that kept the physical life in pain, lack and shame.

Jesus came to the world in the flesh but the work of salvation is largely for the redemption of the soul and deliverance of the spirit. “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound” (Isa 61:1).

You’ll agree that Jesus preached to both the poor and the rich and there was no record that Jesus went to any prison yard to release the inmates. So it’s not about physical poverty or imprisonment. The spirit of Christ is largely a power to break the spiritual yoke of poverty, to destroy spiritual captivity and to release the oppressed from satanic imprisonment.
In the spiritual realm are chains, prisons, filthy garments, disappointments, pains and sorrows. Unfortunately, there are many people whose souls and spirits are in that realm, and as a result their physical lives including health, business, finances and marriage enjoyed no peace and freedom. In as much as Satan has his agents of wickedness around, there will be continuous imprisonment of souls. It was because some evil spiritual birds ate from the spiritual basket on the spiritual head of the chief baker that led to his physical killing by the king (Gen 40).

Notwithstanding your physical location and condition, it is your spiritual state that will determine your latter end. Don’t joke with those dreams of backwardness, death or failure. They are indications of spiritual imprisonment even and such dreams are potent to turn hope to hopelessness.

Don’t be content with your happy marriage and good job if you sense your soul is not free. Call on the Saviour for deliverance so that you may be whole.

Be made whole in Jesus name!
