Rev 21:5: And he that sat upon the throne said, behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, write: for these words are true and faithful.
Helping you to repair your old car is a blessing but giving you a brand new car is a greater blessing. When something is old, overused and worn-out there is a tendency that it will be giving recurring problems and requiring recurrent repairs. It will give the owner no rest. And because God wants you to rest, he says he is not going to repair or fix those old problems again. He will make all things new. “Remember not the former things…Behold, I will do a new thing” (Isa 43:18-19).
I got two inspirations from our text Rev 21:5. “And he that sat upon the throne said, BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW”. The first is that God is able to make all things new. All, yes all. You need the doctor to handle the health, a lawyer to fix the legal issues, the bank to help with the debt. Some of us don’t even know who to meet to fix the emotional problems, the spiritual attacks, and the career confusions. But God says he is not sending diverse repairers to fix your many problems, he is making all things new. He is giving you a new car, a new baby, a new job, replacing the sick organ,… Yes, he can and he will. “Behold, I will do a new thing”; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” (Isa 43: 19). Now means instantaneous answer so that you can have immediate rest. But how will God be able to make all things new at the same time? This leads to the second inspiration.
“AND HE THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE SAID, Behold, I make all things new”. Note the word “SAID”. God doesn’t have a workshop for making new things. His factory is in his DECLARATION. And the beautiful part is that he doesn’t need to mention the issues one by one. I make the mountains new, I make the valley new, I make your health new …. No. when he declares ALL things to become new, everything that constitutes ALL must obey him to become new.
God is his word and the best gift and blessing he could offer to you is to speak and it will be done. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I DECLARE new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.” (Isa 42:9). Preceding every manifestation of God’s miraculous is his declaration. So when you receive his declaration, you can be assured of the manifestation. Every promise in the word is true; they are waiting for your faith to activate them into materialization.
In Matt 8:8, a centurion told Jesus, I came all the way not to bring you to my house to do the miracle, but to get a word of miracle from your mouth, “but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed”. I also bring the words to you that this month God is making all things new. Believe it and declare it in your life that all things, with nothing left out, are becoming new and you shall rest in the name of Jesus.
This month you will surely have testimony in Jesus name!
